Online Therapy for Neurodivergent Adults
(and any pets who like to purr-ticipate!)
Does it feel like your brain is trying to use a wrinkled MapQuest printout from 1999 while everyone else has an internal GPS with free lifetime updates?
Are you constantly mind-blown how other people can just *do* stuff?
Does 2017-SAG-Awards Winona Ryder* feel a little too relatable?

I get it. And I won’t pretend like the world isn’t genuinely kind of terrifying and awful these days. The good news is, it can feel a lot less heavy when your insides make sense. When you’re forced to make yourself small just to survive, showing up as your true self is the ultimate act of defiance. It would be my privilege to help you untangle the experiences and narratives that shaped you into the person you are in this very moment. By understanding and healing these complexities, you can slow the overthinking, reduce the shame, and curate a life you love. Authenticity is a light that can shine through even our darkest moments, whether that’s fighting systems of oppression or spiraling because your brain won’t let you do the thing.

About Me…
lived experience with AuDHD and many of its friends (including but not limited to: late diagnosis, comorbid mental health conditions, queer identity, burnout, unmasking, chronic illness, complex trauma; and most importantly, being a deeply feeling human navigating whatever life is right now)
my flavour of professionalism: dressing for comfort, having brightly colored ever-evolving hair, not being able to sit properly in a chair, fidgeting/stimming, making eye contact when listening but not when talking, being a swearapist, and having a cat or two or three around.
The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of effective therapy.
If you:

would like to be a better version of yourself
My approach
My approach is trauma-informed and guided by person-centered and existential therapies. We’ll work together as equals–you are the expert on your life, and I’ve got the skills to help guide you to your truth. It may seem unstructured, but you are a one-of-a-kind human and should be treated as such. Each time we meet, I want to “hear you out” and we’ll focus on what it is you need most in that moment. While I rely on my own lived experience, it is represented primarily online so that sessions remain focused on you. Although we may face similar struggles, I’ve “done the work” and designed my practice to accommodate my needs. This allows me to hold space for you and work in an ethical manner.
Sessions might include:
unmasking and rewriting old narratives
laughing, crying, commiserating
problem solving to help your executives function
celebrating victories big and small
sitting with grief of all sorts
honoring delayed processing when it arises
building self-love
discussing meaningful lyrics or making art
exploring intersectional identities
airing grievances
